John Calhoun was on the way to Fort Sill, Arizona to visit an old friend. But Don Crawford had already been attacked and killed by a bunch of Kiowa warriors. Driven by a medicine man's bloody vision, the Kiowas hoped to get guns and ammunition - but all they found instead was a shipment of corn.
