The girl looked offended. She was very pretty. Her face was a perfect oval, and her hair cascaded to her shoulders in heavy, shiny waves. You didn't have to guess what her figure was like, because the skimpy costume she wore left little to the imagination. For a girl to have appeared on the adobe streets of El Tanque dressed in such a fashion would have caused a riot, but it was perfectly all right in this scented, shadowed place where Savage was wiling away the lazy afternoon hours. The place was called Satir'’s and it was El Tanque's finest bordello.
