He was part-white, part-Apache, all killer. 16: BAD HABITS

Breed, alias Azul, was a loner but when he met three nuns traveling across the desert, he offered to escort them. But somehow the trio didn't behave like nuns. They were skilled with guns and hardened to violent death. Breed had to kill many men to protect them but even the corpses were denied a Christian burial.

Then Breed discovered that the nuns were in cahoots with Mex banditos robbing the US gold shipments. So he led the Army troopers in a raid of horrible revenge that made the victims pray for mercy ...

15: SLAUGHTER TIME

The Masters clan had the town of Mattock in its pocket and no-one crossed Luke Masters if he valued his life. Until Breed happened into town. And had a showdown with Luke and his men which left Breed more dead than alive.

That was Luke's big mistake.

14: SPANISH GOLD

The Pinkertons turn to Breed with an offer of $500 to bring in Nolan. But in doing so, he himself could be hunted down and face a twenty-year stretch in Leavenworth Prison.

Hunting down Nolan and Christie, the scalp-hunters who killed his parents, Breed came to the town called Two Bits, only to find bad trouble brewing.

Someone was hell-bent on setting the local white folks and Apaches at each other's throats so's they could make a dirty dollar or two out of the bloodshed.

Breed didn't much care for what he found. Two Bits was about to find out - the hard way - what it meant to mess with Breed.

04: DEATH STAGE

The Concorde Stage hurtled out of control down the perilous trail of Windy Pass. And right behind, and closing fast, rode three men with murder in their eyes. Then the shots rang out, and one by one the road bandits catapulted from their horses as their death-trail ended in a welter of blood.

And Breed smiled over the smoking barrel of his Winchester...

He was a killer with a merciless mission - to take vengeance on those who killed his parents. But to get to those, he must first help the township of Endurance take on a deadly force led by the crazed ex-Confederate Colonel Jonathan "Cal" Sibley.

And Endurance soon found out two things about this cold-eyed loner. First, that Breed was the man who had saved the stage. Second, that to cross Breed's path was to cross with death!

03: CRY FOR VENGEANCE SILENT KILL

02: THE SILENT KILL

The half-breed, Matthew Gunn, had trailed his quarry through the waterless hell of the Nevada desert, up to the snow covered crags of the high Sierras.

In his wake was a trail of blood which tainted his footsteps and marked him as a killer. Three of the scalp-hunters who had killed his parents are dead. Now he approached the culmination of his long pursuit - vengeance on the remaining murderers!

Cold and merciless in his pursuit - nothing would stand in his way, because he was called Breed - and the name spelled violent death!

01: THE LONELY HUNT

Azul returns to his village to find it destroyed and all the men, women and children massacred, including his white father and Apache mother. All killed for their hair. Matthew Gunn aka Azul swears to a blood oath. He will find and kill the six scalp hunters, slowly, painfully.

It's not just the scalp hunters who will suffer a lingering death at the hands of Azul, there are others who become targets for the half-breed's wrath. As the death toll mounts, so Azul becomes a wanted man. Soon the Federales are out to stop him, and they have an Indian tracker. This Yaqui becoming a major problem that Azul has to deal with, but not quite as expected.
