07: THE MILE-DEEP GRAVE

The Company had no operation in America—the Syndicate took all the action. And when the Revenger hit the West Coast there was plenty.

Stark thought he was safe across the border from Canada. But then he got mixed up with two amateur narcotics smugglers and took off on a stolen police motor bike with a hail of hot lead for company. His journey brought him up against a big wheel in the Syndicate. And put another corpse on his tally. That made John Stark a marked man: a sadistic black gun picked up the contract, but Stark was the hit man's equal in the art of death. And in the deadly chase that followed both men used their lethal skills to bloody effect.
